Disney has premiered a full-length trailer for the upcoming film adaptation of one of the company’s most popular theme park rides – Jungle Cruise. The film will star Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, seeing the two embark on an adventure deep into the jungle in order to uncover an ancient mystery.

According to the official trailer description, the film “an adventure-filled, Amazon-jungle expedition starring Dwayne Johnson as the charismatic riverboat captain and Emily Blunt as a determined explorer on a research mission. Also starring in the film are Edgar Ramirez, Jack Whitehall, with Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti.”

Jungle Cruise is based on the classic Disney Parks attraction of the same name, located in Adventureland at multiple parks around the world; the attraction first debuted in 1955 as an opening day attraction at Disneyland. The trailer for the film boasts a handful of the same jokes that can typically be heard on the ride.

The Jungle Cruise film is being directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and is set to premiere in theaters on July 24, 2020.
