The Crow movie based on the comic by James O’Barr is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a 4K Ultra HD physical release. It is available in standard and limited edition SteelBook variations.

The dark, supernatural vigilante movie follows one man’s quest for vengeance after he and his fiancée are brutally killed. Though Eric Draven is murdered in the horrific event, he is resurrected by a supernatural crow to hunt down the guilty. The comic was released 35 years ago, and a film adaptation followed five years later in 1994. The movie starred Brandon Lee, the son of martial artists icon and actor Bruce Lee, who was tragically killed while filming the movie.

The new release comes with the featurettes “Shadows & Pain: Designing The Crow,” “Angels All Fire: Birth of the Legend,” “On Hallowed Ground: The Outer Realm,” “Twisted Wreckage: The Insides Spaces,” “A Profile on James O’Barr,” and a behind the scenes featurette. Additional special features are the Sideshow Collectibles: An Interview with Edward R. Pressman, audio commentary with director Alex Proyas, audio commentary by producer Jeff Most and screenwriter John Shirley, extended scenes, a deleted footage montage, and the trailer.
