Harbinger continues to be a very interesting title. For those of us who remember the original very well, writer Joshua Dysart has found a series of compelling ways to make it different than the original, yet he’s managed to keep much of the original’s spirit in his approach. Though there’s plenty of action, this one really centers on the character Faith Herbert, also known as Zephyr. Overweight and almost consistently held back by her emotional and fantasy life, she’s not the likeliest of heroes, but both in the original series and in this new one there’s something about her earnestness and honesty that’s hard not to like.
