Archie Comics; $3.99

At the end of the previous issue, Archie, Reggie and Betty got into one heck of a wreck after Betty tried to intervene with the boys’ petty race. This issue focuses on the aftermath of that incident by looking at how Archie’s many friends – Jughead, Veronica, and Dilton, among others – receive and react to the news of what happened. And we also learn who was most impacted by the boys’ insane decision to have a drag race, too.

The “New Riverdale” brand for Archie has sure seen its share of drama already, but this probably takes the cake as far as the implications it has for the main cast. The Archie series continues to be an absolutely worthwhile read, and it’s sure to be interesting as far as what comes next.
