Alana lost the second child she was to have with Marko, and carrying it still inside of her has resulted in some interesting side-effects, like being able to cast spells (an ability generally reserved for those with Wreath blood). But it’s also making her dreadfully ill, so she, Marko, and Hazel seek out a doctor that can remove it from her before any more damage is done to her health. But as always with these two, danger seems to lurk around every corner.

Saga remains an absolute standout not just for Image Comics but for the industry in general; it continues to strike that delicate balance between action, drama, and comedy that makes for an incredibly compelling read. The twist at the end of this issue definitely left me craving more content, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
