In Librarians #2 (of 4) things get even weirder – which is saying something since the first issue ended with Ezekiel being attacked by sasquatch creatures. The Librarians, who protect the world from the magical reality around them, are investigating the murder of a b-movie director who was killed by one of his frequent collaborators.

Some of their questions are answered and several new questions are presented. Flynn, Eve, Jake, Cassandra, and Ezekiel are forced to ponder reality versus fiction and false memories versus confirmed events surrounded by the silliness of b-level science fiction and fantasy movies.

Will Pfeiffer is doing a great job on this comic. He’s capturing the voices of the characters, playing on their strengths, and providing their individuality. The story itself is also a great Librarians tale. It’s fun, intriguing, and imaginative blending legends with new possibilities all with an adventurous spirit.
