The threat of Galactus looms throughout the universe, but especially so over his latest planet meal target – a planet full of green squirrels known as Planet Chitt-crrt. Galactus sent his herald, the Silver Surfer, in advance of his arrival, and the resident squirrels responded by summoning the only member of their race known to have defeated Galactus in the past – Tippy-Toe. Unfortunately, Nancy also got caught by mistake in the teleportation beam that zapped the two of them clear across the galaxy. Back on Earth, Doreen realizes her two pals have gone missing and seeks out the help of the latest Sorcerer Supreme, Loki, to track them down before it’s too late.

The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl continues to be an absolute blast to read; the clever humor expressed in both the writing and artwork makes it a standout amongst Marvel’s lineup of superheroes. With this being the start of a new arc, it’s a solid jumping-on point for anyone who happened to have been sleeping on this series so far.
