Archie Comics; $3.99

After being dumped by both Betty and Veronica, Archie is missing a third beauty in his life – his beloved guitar. A massive wild goose chase throughout Riverdale ensues, though Archie’s typical clumsy self makes it all the more dangerous. And speaking of dangerous, the Blossom kids are told the truth about their lineage and who their father actually is. Not only is it far beyond what they could have predicted, but it’s about to get even worse.

Archie continues to be a delightfully dramatic slice-of-life story that captures the essence of what made the original book so much fun to read while maintaining a contemporary air about it. Not only does the writing continue to be stellar, but the latest artist on the book, Audrey Mok, might have the best and most dynamic look for these characters since the reboot began a few years ago. This continues to be a book worth picking up every month.
