The Road to the Thirteenth Doctor continues! Ahead of Jodie Whittaker’s official debut as the Thirteenth Doctor this Fall, Titan Comics continues to thrill Whovians with a prelude to the new television series, while also serving as a prologue to the Thirteenth Doctor’s comic adventures. 

Following the opening adventure with David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor and his companions Gaby and Cindy, the second standalone tale places Matt Smith’s Eleventh Doctor and Alice in 19th century San Francisco. Although they initially planned this little jaunt through time, purely as tourists, things quickly take a turn for the worse. It seems robots have infiltrated this period of social change. But do they come in peace, or could their displacement in time signal something far more sinister?

Part two of Road to the Thirteenth Doctor, features an epic adventure penned by James Peaty with striking art by Pasquale Qualano. Each standalone stories also includes a backup feature by Jody Houser and Rachael Stott, the creative team for the new ongoing Thirteenth Doctor series.
