Previously on Doctor Who… the Doctor, Yasmin, Ryan, and Graham recently completed a successful rescue mission against the treasure-hungry creature known as the Hoarder. Now, the Fam found themselves in 1500s Europe smack dab in the middle of the Guelders Wars. In a surprising turn of events, Yasmin, Ryan, and Graham are actually better prepared than the Doctor, thanks to a popular podcast called Hidden Human History. 

However, the longer the rag-tag team stay, the more obvious it becomes that some history was hidden from the podcast as well. Lurking in the shadows and terrorizing the townsfolk are enormous monsters that feed on blood. Upon further investigation, these monsters turn out to be Stilean Flesh Eaters…and boy are they hungry. After lashing out at the nearest Time Lord, Team TARDIS is forced to regroup and come up with a plan that benefits all parties. Easier said than done in the midsts of a war. Can the Doctor protect the aliens and the humans, or will she be forced to choose a side?

Eisner nominee Jody Houser (Faith) continues to craft a truly enjoyable adventure to  hold fans over until Doctor Who returns in 2020. Coupled with the striking art by Roberta Ingranata, this cosmic adventure is a must read!
