Wonder Woman is going to meet Supergirl!

It has been officially announced that Lynda Carter is joining the second season of Supergirl. Carter played the superheroine Wonder Woman in the popular 1970s TV show, and now she’s going from princess of the Amazons to leader of America as the President of the United States.

Carter joins other former superheroes Helen Slater and Laura Vandervoort, both of whom played Supergirl, and Dean Cain who played Superman.

In March Supergirl executive producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg had stated that they were interested in bringing Carter into the show and that they had a specific role in mind. Carter’s debut will be in episode 203.

Supergirl will begin its run on The CW, after a move from CBS, on October 10, 2016 at 8 PM.
