Get ready historical collectors in Ohio, it’s time for Canton…It’s Always Fun! The political and historical collecting convention will be held on October 26-29, 2016 at the McKinley Grand Hotel, 320 Market Avenue S., Canton, OH.

The event begins with two days of room hopping before the show opens. Attendees can start arriving on Wednesday, October 26. On Thursday at 6 PM a welcome reception will be held, including an unveiling of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump busts.

The show opens on Friday, running from 9 AM to 4 PM. Admission is only $5. Friday evening a dinner will be held at Bender’s Restaurant. After dinner, events continue at the hotel with a performance of When the Torchbearers Get Lit, followed by trivia night.

Saturday begins with a large silent auction from 7 AM to 9 AM. The show opens at 9 AM and runs until 2 PM. Admission for Saturday is free.

In addition to political and historical memorabilia, local dealers will have pop culture items, including sports memorabilia, photography, comic books, and other collectibles.

The McKinley Grant Hotel is located across the street from the First Ladies Museum. The McKinley Memorial and Library is two miles away and the NFL Hall of Fame is nearby.
