Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter to offer fans a first look at Zazie Beetz (Atlanta) as the mercenary Domino. As a callback to the first film’s poster, Beetz is shown in full Domino attire lounging on a flattened Deadpool, in front of a fireplace.

“Some people just know how to work a red carpet,” Reynolds captioned the tweet.

Ever since filming began on the highly-anticipated sequel, Reynolds has been openly sharing photos from the set. He previously teased fans with an image of Deadpool posed in front of the X-Mansion, while confirming the return of Leslie Uggams’ Blind Al in another. Josh Brolin, who joins the sequel as Cable, also took to social media to document his transformation into the memorable mercenary.

While plot details are scarce, Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld recently spoke to ComicBook.com about the movie’s possible tone. “When I see the two of them, I’m like, ‘It’s going to be comic book’s equivalent to Rush Hour,’ and I don’t know if comic fans are ready for it. I think it’s going to be great,” he said, comparing Deadpool and Cable’s dynamic to Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker’s Rush Hour characters.

Deadpool 2, directed by David Leitch, also stars Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Julian Dennison, and Jack Kesy. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on June 1, 2018.
