British comic artist and Luton native Steve Dillon is the subject of a new exhibit at The Culture Trust Luton, located in Luton, England.

Dillon’s storied career included many of comics’ most popular and influential titles, from his early work in 2000AD to his memorable runs on many other titles as The Punisher, Judge Dredd, Hellblazer, and Preacher. When Preacher became an AMC series, Dillon served as an executive producer.

The Culture Trust Luton will exhibit some of Dillon’s earliest work that dates back to 1978 when he first started working with Marvel UK on Hulk. In addition to his best known works, it will showcase work he did on Doctor Who, Wolverine, and more.

The exhibition is free, but visits must be booked in advance. It is open June 2, 2022 through July 7, with viewings on Thursdays and Fridays from 5 PM to 9 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM to 2 PM.
