Well known comic collector Jon S. Berk passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023, surrounded by family.

Berk collected comic books that were focused on the Golden and Silver Ages as well as early comic collectibles. His passion for collecting included finding the Larson Collection in the 1990s. He was active in the collecting community, sharing his knowledge in online forums, discussions, and as an Overstreet advisor. His contributions to the hobby made him a well known figure in comic collecting.

Berk was a lawyer who was a partner at Gordon, Muir, and Foley in Harford, Connecticut. He published law books and argued cases before the Connecticut Supreme Court.

He was a fan of Broadway musicals and Motown music, he was a fan of baseball, he liked gardening, and photography.

He is survived by his daughter Arianna and son Zack.
