Comic collector and Overstreet advisor Bill Alexander died on Thursday, July 18, 2024. His sister, Debra Alexander, informed Gemstone Publishing that he collapsed and hit his head while getting out of a vehicle, never regained consciousness and died at the hospital.

Alexander was an enthusiastic collector, especially of Archie comics and the price variants of Archie books and some superhero comics. He was an advisor to The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide for 15 years. Each year, he was one of the first advisors to submit his market reports and he followed up with more data after his initial submissions. His report in the Guide #54 is on page 93.

He also worked on the CPV Price Guide for Canadian Price Variants online price guide with other comic experts.
