SC Comicon is true to the “comic” portion of its name with comics making up a large number of the vendors. They sold everything from the Golden to Modern Ages, with $1 books up to the keys and first appearances. The books covered the gamut of genres with superheroes, horror, science fiction, family titles, kids’ books, and more. Other vendors sold new and vintage action figures, manga and anime, apparel, patterned bags, tabletop gaming supplies, steampunk material, prop weapons, and much more.
Cosplayers were prevalent at SC Comicon and strutted their stuff for a cosplay photo shoot, costume contest, and cosplay runway. The contest was split into categories for kids, beginners, those at the intermediate level, and the master class.
The tenth installment of SC Comicon was a busy, successful event with vendors reporting positive sales, and attendees expressing their enjoyment throughout the weekend.
