Fourth of July weekend just got a little more exciting for Syracuse residents. Power Rangers alum Johnny Yong Bosch and Dragon Ball Super’s Daman Mills are heading to the Salt City Comic Con as featured guests. The seventh annual con is being held on July 4-5, 2020, at the New York State Fairgrounds Expo Center on 581 State Fair Boulevard in Syracuse, New York.
Along with being a prolific actor and voice actor, Bosch is also a martial artist, singer, and musician. His first major role was the portrayal of Adam Park, the second Black Power Ranger and later, the Green Zeo Ranger and first Green Turbo Ranger in the Power Rangers franchise, which led to roles in some martial arts television and feature films. Bosch has lent his voice to such series as Trigun, Naruto, Full Metal Alchemist, Bleach, Naruto: Shippuden, Pokémon Origins, Toradora!, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Sailor Moon & Sailor Moon Crysta, Marvel Future Avengers, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba.
Mills is best known for voicing Jyugo in NANBAKA, Frieza (acting as an understudy for Christopher Ayres) and Monaka in Dragon Ball Super, Ginshi Shirazu in Tokyo Ghoul: re, and Tanaka in One Piece Film: Gold. He has provided voices on Attack on Titan, Black Clover, Goblin Slayer, Pokémon The Series: XYZ, Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2199, Tsukigakirei, Tsugumomo, Yuri!!! on Ice, Boogiepop & Others and more.
