Writer and podcaster Bob Andelman, known as Mr. Media, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020. He was 59 years old.

Andelman authored and coauthored many books about the arts, culture, and business, and produced interviews with many pop culture figures. He created the Mr. Media website in 1995, which features interviews with entertainment personalities.

Andelman wrote Will Eisner: A Spirited Life based on interviews with Eisner, which came with an introduction by Michael Chabon. He also collaborated with business leaders to write books about business strategy and company profiles, including The Profit Zone: How Strategic Business Design Will Lead You to Tomorrow’s Profits and Built from Scratch: How a Couple of Regular Guys Grew the Home Depot from Nothing to $30 Billion.
