Wizard World is returning to live events in the fall of 2021, starting with their flagship event, Wizard World Chicago. The convention will be held on October 15-17, 2021 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. This will be the 23rd edition of Wizard World Chicago.

Details on guests, exhibitors, programing, cosplay, and other aspects of the con will be announced as they become available. Tickets that were purchased for the 2020 live con that was cancelled will be honored at the October 2021 con. Other ticket details will also be announced soon.

“Virtual events over the past 15 months have opened Wizard World up to fans across the globe, and we’re looking forward to incorporating those elements into the reimagined Wizard World live event format,” Wizard Brands CEO and Chairman Scott Kaufman said.

Since its last live show in Cleveland in March 2020, Wizard World has operated as virtual-only, including over 300 events with Q&As, panels, fan group and expert sessions, quiz shows, and more. For their meet and greet portion, Wizard World has facilitated live video chats, virtual photo ops, recorded messages, and autographs.

According to their press release, Wizard World will continue working with national, state, and local authorities to provide a safe environment for the convention. More details will be announced closer to the event.
