Kae Winters of Tokyopop and Brad Rooks of Oni-Lion Forge Publishing Group have joined the ComicBooks for Kids board of directors. Both comics industry pros have supported ComicBooks for Kids since the organization was founded in 2017.

Winters has been with Tokyopop since 2016, working in the marketing department on communications, public relations, and events. Rooks joined Oni Press in 2012 as the Inventory Coordinator and has moved on to Director of Operations.

The charity ComicBooks for Kids provides free comics to children in hospitals, cancer facilities, and other medical facilities. They are a sister organization to ComicBooks for Troops, which donates comics to the military.
