To usher in a new series for The Harbinger, Valiant Entertainment has created a metal variant cover and a gift bundle for the first issue.

“Can you make the world better if you can’t be better? A telepath with no memory. A city of superpowered teenagers suppressed. Redemption. Destruction. Rebirth. A new era of Harbinger begins here,” Valiant’s description reads.

From Valiant’s Director of Design and Production Travis Escarfullery, the metal cover enhances Robbi Rodriguez’s art for the cover of the debut issue. The four-color print over metal variant will be available to participating retailers in a one metal cover per 250 copies ordered.

In addition to the limited metal cover, comic shops that order 250 copies will get an exclusive Harbinger gift bundle. Housed in a slipcase box set, it contains a pin, four postcards, a poster, and The Harbinger bookplate signed by co-writers Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing. Aside from the pin, these items will only be available in the gift bundle.

The Harbinger #1 can be ordered by October 4, 2021, and will be in comic shops on October 27.

The comic is illustrated by Robbi Rodriguez and colored by Rico Renzi. It comes with a cover A by Rodriguez, cover B by Rod Reis, cover C by Cris Delara, preorder cover by Damion Scott, and the metal cover by Rodriguez and Escarfullery.
