The enduringly charming Peanuts crew are ringing in the New Year together for a new holiday special. Apple TV has released the trailer for Auld Lang Syne, which introduces a Lucy-centered special.

In the trailer, Lucy is sad that her grandmother did not come to Christmas. To prove that she is likeable, Lucy decides to throw an extra special New Year’s Eve party for her friends. She instructs them that they will dress up, be on time, and behave themselves – which all goes awry. As she attempts to host the perfect party, Charlie Brown reflects on his New Year’s resolutions.

For Auld Lang Syne was written by Alex Galatis, Scott Montgomery, and Clay Kaytis. It will debut on Apple TV+ on December 10, 2021.
