Paramount Plus released the full length trailer for the third and final season of Star Trek: Picard, reuniting several cast members from Star Trek: The Next Generation. But the emotional trip down memory lane isn’t all fun recounting of stories – something ominous is on the way.

The trailer has a light opening with Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) and Will Ryker (Jonathan Frakes) going through an inspection that acknowledges how wild their adventures were in the past. Things take a dark turn when Starfleet learns that an attack is coming, and they may be the target. Picard gets a dire warning from Dr. Crusher (Gates McFadden) to trust no one and antagonist Vadic (Amanda Plummer) promises that she “will have vengeance.”

Much of the dramatic trailer is devoted to reacquainting viewers with the Next Generation cast while also previewing the action to come. There are clips of Geordi La Forge (LeVar Burton), Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis), Worf (Michael Dorn), and Data’s twin Lore (Brent Spiner), as well as Voyager’s Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan).

Picard will start streaming its third and final season on Paramount Plus on February 16, 2023.
