The Walking Dead: Dead City will be chomping its way into New York City this summer. The new series starring Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan will debut on AMC on June 18, 2023.

Cohan and Morgan are back as Maggie and Negan, respectively, who travel to post-apocalyptic Manhattan. The premiere date was revealed via a packed 15-second teaser that shows Herschel being kidnapped and Maggie asking Negan for help in rescuing him. The teaser shows flashes of a man holding a Wild West style wanted poster, a monster that looks like it was pulled from Resident Evil, and walkers falling from the sky.

Dead City will have a limited, six-episode run. Cohan and Morgan are joined by Gaius Charles, Jonathan Higginbotham, Mahina Napoleon, Trey Santiago-Hudson, and Charlie Solis.

It is the fourth Walking Dead spinoff, following Fear the Walking Dead, World Beyond, and Tales of the Walking Dead.
