Nick Fury is ready to stop the Skrulls – even if he has to do it alone. Marvel Studios dropped a new trailer for Secret Invasion in which the former SHIELD Director who had been living off the grid is back to face insurmountable odds.

Titled “Fight,” the trailer opens with Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) telling James Rhodes/War Machine (Don Cheadle) that an invasion is already happening – only “we can’t even tell who the invaders are.” Choosing not to alert the Avengers, Fury sets out to stop the invasion himself, with assistance by Skrull ally Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman).

Secret Invasion also stars Olivia Colman as Special Agent Sonya Falsworth, Emilia Clarke is playing G’iah, Kingsley Ben-Adir is starring as Rebel Skrull leader Gravik, and Christopher McDonald and Dermot Mulroney join the MCU, though their characters have not been announced.

The six-episode season will start streaming on Disney+ on June 21, 2023.
