The first trailer for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom has finally arrived! In the four years since Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) became the King of Atlantis, he has added husband and father to his list of duties. But his domestic life on land and kingdom in the sea are about to be attacked by an enemy with a grudge.

Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) is hellbent on getting revenge on Aquaman for the death of his father. Having learned that he was outmatched when he attacked Arthur in the first Aquaman, Manta has acquired the Black Trident, which unleashes an ancient, evil force. With both of his homes being threatened, Aquaman seeks help from his brother Orm (Patrick Wilson), who still harbors bitterness since Arthur defeated him for the throne of Atlantis.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is being released five years after Momoa starred in the mega hit Aquaman in 2018. It is one of the last confirmed films starring the Zack Snyder-led DCEU stars, before the slate of new films under DC co-chairman and CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran begins in 2025.

James Wan, who helmed the first Aquaman, has returned to direct the sequel. Several Aquaman stars are back, including Amber Heard as Mera, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus, and Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin. Ben Affleck is reprising his DCEU role as Batman.
