If The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide and The Photo-Journal had a child, it would be The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide To Lost Universes, which returns with a brand new second edition on May 1, 2024.

The groundbreaking second volume of Lost Universes takes a tour through a whole new set of comic book worlds that have come and gone (and sometimes come again): Fawcett’s Marvel Family, Marvel 2099, original Chaos! Comics, Captain Canuck, Badger and Nexus, DNA Agents, Tim Truman’s Scout, BOOM!’s Stan Lee Universe, and others.

The covers will feature Spider-Man 2099 by Butch Guice (with colors by Hi-Fi’s Brian Miller), a ‘90s style version of Brian Pulido’s Lady Death, and Tim Truman’s Scout.

What sets this book aside from the main Guide is that every comic listed in this book is pictured, and there are plenty of examples of original comic art as well, making it a hybrid of the Guide and the acclaimed Photo-Journals!

The first edition of Lost Universes hit comic shops in February 2022 to wide acclaim. Among its subjects were the Archie/MLJ superheroes, Marvel’s New Universes, original Milestone, original Valiant, Atlas-Seaboard, DEFIANT, Comics Greatest World from Dark Horse, Future Comics, CrossGen, the T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents, Topps Comics’ Kirbyverse, Malibu’s Ultravese, Triumphant, and more.
