The Addiction comic is growing its collectability with a slate of limited edition luxe foil, embossed, and UV variant covers of the first issue, plus signed copies and CGC-graded copies. The new limited edition copies are available exclusively in The Addiction’s webstore.

Launched at New York Comic Con in October 2023, The Addiction is co-created and written by Vincent Zurzolo (Metropolis Comics, ComicConnect) and David Quinn (Faust, Dr. Strange). The book features art by Claudia Balboni (Killer Queens), colors by Brad Simpson, and letters by Dave Sharpe.

In the comic Dr. Niki Tino, a physician who helped recovering drug addicts, is attacked by an NYC drug cartel, and injected with a potent drug cocktail. After enduring a brutal night of pain and death, Niki is reborn with incredible chemical powers. As she works to stop the cartel, their soldiers seek to steal her blood, the secret of her power.

The limited edition covers include the NYCC embossed covers by Artgerm and David Mack, Grimaldi’s UV cover, and Alithia Martinez’s foil cover.

“Powered by the energy of the fans who came and spent their hard-earned money on our premiere NYC Variant Editions at NYCC, we’ve launched a full service Addiction website, with preview pages, background information, and an online store – check it out, and choose from everything that we sold in NYC – books, prints, trading cards – plus, exclusive limited variants only available online!” Zurzolo said.

“Humbled by the huge response for our story, I personally started taking selfies with customers who told me that this was the first comic they ever bought, NOT something I hear often,” Quinn said. “Ultimately, we have always seen The Addiction’s audience as global, even though the premiere party was local. Now, anyone who wants The Addiction can get it, anywhere on Earth, signed or unsigned, even CGC-graded, delivered directly from the creators!”
