SC Comicon is scheduled for this weekend on April 6-7, 2024. The gathering of comic industry pros and collectors will be held at the Greenville Convention Center, located at 1 Exposition Drive, Greenville, SC.

Gemstone Publishing and Hake’s Auctions will represent Geppi Family Enterprises at the show. Gemstone’s Editor – Digital Amanda Sheriff will be at booth 510 and Hake’s Consignment Manager Josiah Sunell and Photographer/Designer Madison Gillespie will be at booth 411.

Hake’s will be promoting their May online-only auction and the July premier auction, and will also take consignments for their July auction. Gemstone will talk to collectors about Overstreet Access, The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide’s online guide, the upcoming 54th edition of the Guide, and The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide to Lost Universes #2.

“I’m looking forward to spending the weekend with fellow comic collectors and fans at SC Comicon. There’s a lot going on at Gemstone Publishing and Hake’s Auctions that we want to share with attendees at the show,” Sheriff said. “Stop by our booths to preview the covers of the Guide #54, learn about Overstreet Access, and get a teaser for things to come in Hake’s next two auctions.”

SC Comicon will host creators like Jae Lee (Batman/Superman), Jim Lee (CCO & publisher of DC), Stéphane Roux (Birds of Prey), Jim Shooter (former Marvel Editor in Chief), and Jim Steranko (Captain America), and celebrity guests such as Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat (pro wrestler), Ashley Eckstein (Star Wars: The Clone Wars), Kate Flannery (The Office), Lou Diamond Phillips (La Bamba), and William Shatner (Star Trek).
