Since his comics career began in 2012, James Tynion IV has become a popular and commercially successful writer. A notable portion of his work has been published by BOOM! Studios over the past decade, and now they are celebrating his work with the James Tynion IV: The First Decade at BOOM! Studios BOOM! Direct Reserve Campaign on Kickstarter.

The curated collection includes some of his best known work including The Woods, Memetic: The Apocalypse Trilogy, and Something is Killing the Children. It has limited edition anniversary comics, premium hardcover and slipcase collected editions, and exclusive collectibles like a commemorative print by Nick Robles. Each comic and hardcover features a new cover by the titles respective artist and co-creators like Michael Dialynas, Eryk Donovan, and Werther Dell’Edera.

It comes with The Art of Something is Killing the Children, a visual narrative of the first five years of the series. The book features rare sketches and a collection of pages, covers, and commentary curated by Tynion and Dell’Edera. It will be available in exclusive hardcover and slipcase editions.

Fans who reserved any of the physical tiers during the first 48 hours of the campaign received the Something is Killing the Children #1 Scriptbook. It gives an exclusive behind the scenes look at the creation of the comic series, including a reproduction of Tynion’s original script. Additional limited edition collectibles, comics, and an announcement about Something Is Killing the Children will be unlocked in the campaign’s stretch goals.

“It’s hard to believe it’s already been 10 years since the debut of The Woods and Memetic (and 5 years since the debut of Something is Killing the Children!),” Tynion said. “The projects are all incredibly personal to Michael, Eryk, Werther, and I, and were foundational to me becoming the writer I am today. I’m thrilled to celebrate their anniversaries with brand new deluxe editions, and to hopefully see a whole new generation experience these stories for the first time.”
