The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #54 is now available in comic book stores. The Bible of serious comic book collectors, dealers, and historians since it was first published in 1970, The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide is released each July by Gemstone Publishing. Compiled by founder Robert M. Overstreet with contributions from an extensive roster of Overstreet Advisors, the Guide offers insight into the complex and exciting comic book market.

The 54th edition of the Guide features four covers on its regular volume and two showcased on The Big, Big Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman brings the Heroes in the Half Shell to the cover to celebrate their 40th anniversary. Artist Michael Wm. Kaluta returns to The Shadow with another masterpiece for the Guide. It also features Brian Pulido’s Lady Death and Billy Tucci’s Shi as they celebrate their respective 30th anniversaries on two covers that match up to form one larger image.

Each edition will be offered in hardcover ($44.95) and softcover ($34.95). In its pages, this edition spotlights the 40th anniversary of the Turtles and the 30th anniversaries of Lady Death and Shi, provides a broad overview of Charlton Comics, digs deeper into the Platinum Age, and spotlights The Shadow.

As if covers by Eastman, Kaluta, and Tucci aren’t enough, Aaron Lopresti (Garbage Man) dives headlong into his interpretation of the Phantom Lady and Dean Haspiel (The Fox) teams up Fantomah with Wonderman and The Human Bomb as Gemstone remembers the Golden Age with the covers of The Big, Big Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #54. This oversized, limited edition version of the Guide ($59.95) features just the pricing from the standard editions of the book, with none of the articles, ads, or other features. It is square bound, and features larger print.
