The Certified Collectibles Group (CCG) has named Arafaat Ali Khan as their Managing Director, Middle East. In this role, he will lead the CCG Dubai office when it opens in 2025.

Khan is well known within the pop culture and entertainment communities, particularly for being the co-founder of the Middle East Film and Comic Con. He has been a strong presence in the pop culture collecting community in the Middle East for over a decade.

“We are very excited to welcome Arafaat to our team,” CCG President Max Spiegel said. “His impressive expertise and passion for collectibles will be invaluable to CCG and our customers as we establish our presence in the Middle East. We look forward to serving this vibrant region with top tier authentication and grading services beginning early next year.”

The CCG Dubai office will be their hub for the Middle East, offering authentication and grading services from Certified Guaranty Company, James Spense Authentication, Numismatic Guaranty Company, and Paper Money Guaranty. This is the first full time presence of a major third party grading service in the Middle East.

“As an avid collector myself, I am honored to join CCG and lead the company’s efforts in the Middle East,” Khan said. “The region has an enthusiastic and growing collecting community, and I am excited to be part of another first at CCG by providing exceptional services and support to collectors and dealers here. This is an exciting time for the industry, and I look forward to contributing to its growth and success.”
