Deadpool & Wolverine has been the biggest film success of 2024, setting multiple records that include becoming the highest grossing R-rated movie of all-time. Starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, the movie brings together two of Marvel’s most popular antiheroes for one violent, comedic, and cameo filled flick. It has made $1.3 billion at the global box office, and soon it will head to small screens everywhere.

Deadpool & Wolverine will be released digitally through Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango on October 1, 2024. The 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD formats will arrive on October 22. Entertainment Weekly got the exclusive first look at the physical releases, including the different packaging and bonus content.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray will be offered with two limited edition SteelBooks – one has Deadpool on the cover with Wolverine variants pictured inside, and the other is a Wolverine cover with Deadpool variants in the interior. Walmart will offer an exclusive Blu-ray featuring the antiheroes and Dogpool on the cover with a pop-up inside that reveals the Deadpool Corps.

The physical releases include several featurettes, like a behind the scenes look at the Wolverine variants, including one in John Byrne’s brown and tan suit, the Uncanny X-Men #251 crucifixion cover, Old Man Logan, and Henry Cavill as Cavillrine. There’s a feature on Deadpool and Wolverine’s big fight, a tribute to longtime Marvel Studios collaborator Ray Chan (who passed in 2024), and Jackman talks about returning to play Wolverine. In another featurette, director Shawn Levy, Reynolds, and more cast members discuss the cameos, updating their costumes, and giving them heroic endings.

Additional special features include Dr. Deadpool trying to convince Jackman to get a check up for testicular cancer, Deadpool displaying the toys and collectibles from the franchise, and Reynolds getting Jackman to promote a movie – though he doesn’t tell him which movie. There’s film commentary with Levy and Reynolds, a gag real, and deleted scenes.
