Nosferatu has a strange, frightening, and seductive influence in the latest trailer for Nosferatu. The terrifying vampire who was introduced in 1922 is making his return to the big screen for a remake of the classic film.

Bill Skarsgård, who made his mark in horror as Pennywise in It, is portraying the vampire. So far, promotion of the movie has only shown shadowy glimpses of Skarsgård as Nosferatu, which continues in the latest trailer. Instead, the new footage focuses on how he is influencing various people, including Ellen Hutter (Lily-Rose Depp) who appears under his thrall.

Her husband, Thomas (Nicholas Hoult) is frightened for his wife, while Professor Albin Eberhart Von Franz (Willem Dafoe) tries to warn people about how dangerous Nosferatu is. The trailer teases that Nosferatu is on his way, accompanied by shots of many different people behaving strangely as though they are possessed.

Robert Eggers (The Witch) wrote the script and is directing Nosferatu. The movie also stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Ralph Ineson, Simon McBurney, Stacy Thunes, and Paul A. Maynard. It will premiere in theaters on December 25, 2024.
