PaperFilms, the multimedia entertainment company run by comic creators Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti, are hosting a big sale on graphic novels. Their office sustained damage during Hurricane Milton in October 2024, and the sale is being held to help recovery efforts.
Palmiotti announced the sale on X, “The Paperfilms office got hit badly by Hurricane Milton. We had to trash over 20K worth of books and put in a new floor, and remove some of the wall space in the office. We are running a sale to help with expenses. Up to 70% off retail.”
The husband and wife team of Palmiotti and Conner are well known in comics for their work on Harley Quinn and for the adult themed The Pro. Palmiotti and Joe Quesada co-created Painkiller Jane, he created Luke Fox/Batwing, and is known for writing Deadpool, The Punisher, Hawkman, and more. Conner’s art has been featured in Power Girl, Red Sonja, Star Wars, and cover work on many titles at DC, Marvel, BOOM!, Dynamite, IDW, and Aftershock.
The sale includes The Pro (NYCC 2024 exclusive variant signed), The Big Con Job trade paperback unsigned and Palmiotti signed version, The Monolith hardcover signed and unsigned, GateCrasher: Ring of Fire trade paperback signed and unsigned, Queen Crab hardcover signed and unsigned, Retrovirus hardcover signed and unsigned, and Random Acts of Violence (platinum edition PaperFilms exclusive) signed and unsigned.
