The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is putting a magical spin on Universal Studios Orlando’s Epic Universe. The park has released details and images for the upcoming Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry. The area of Epic Universe is a recreation of the Ministry of Magic and will immerse visitors into the world of Harry Potter.

“The journey through the typically restricted wizarding government building will take guests through the grand Ministry atrium, Dolores Umbridge’s office, other Ministry departments and more before boarding magical, omnidirectional lifts to bring Dolores Umbridge to justice once and for all,” per the press release.

Guests will enter the Ministry through the Métro-Floo, which brings them through fireplace-like structures similar to the ones in the film. The grand atrium features a Fountain of Magical Brethren statue, the enchanted weather ceiling, floor to ceiling ministry offices, and more intricately crafted details.

Attendees are visiting the Ministry of Magic on the day of Dolores Umbridge’s trial, so guests won’t find anyone working in the Ministry Reception. In Dolores Umbridge’s former office, which is decorated in pink shades with gold carvings, guests will meet her former house elf who is happily cleaning ahead of the trial.

Guests will board an omnidirectional ride lift that goes up, down, forward, backward, and sideways through the Ministry. The ride will take attendees on a chase to find Umbridge, escape Death Eaters and other creatures, and more. They will go through the Magical Archives where cabinets are filled with wizarding documents, the Department of Magical Creatures with escapees running loose, and the Time Room which is filled with Time-Turners and other timekeeping devices.

Throughout the area, visitors will see copies of the Daily Prophet, interdepartmental memos, and the belongings of popular Harry Potter characters. It will also include the Le Cirque Arcanus live show that is inspired by Fantastic Beasts movies.

Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry is opening at the Epic Universe on May 22, 2025.
