Mckenna Grace is going from busting ghosts to facing (or being) Ghostface. The Ghostbusters: Afterlife star has been cast in Scream 7, joining fellow franchise newcomers Isabel May, Celeste O’Connor, and Asa Germann.

The latest installment of the Scream series will see the return of franchise star Neve Campbell, who skipped the sixth film. Original screenwriter Kevin Williamson, who wrote the scripts for the first two movies and the fourth one, is writing Scream 7.

Grace’s Scream 7 character name or connection to other characters in the movie series has not been disclosed yet. In addition to her role in Ghostbusters: Afterlife, she played young Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel, was in The Haunting of Hill House limited series, Annabelle Comes Home, Malignant, several episodes of Young Sheldon, and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.

Scream 7 is scheduled for theatrical release on February 27, 2026.
