Originally published by Carter before his days with Overstreet Publications, it was relaunched for a 62-issue Volume 2 run at Gemstone after the company acquired the Overstreet operation.

“Now many of those issues are considered highly collectible and are in demand on eBay and in other venues,” said J.C. Vaughn, President of Gemstone Publishing.

There were 21 issues in Gary Carter’s pre-Gemstone Volume 1, followed by 62 regular issues and three special editions in Volume 2, and then 38 in Volume 3 (edited by Russ Cochran, # 84 - 121).

In all, there were 100 issues from Gemstone in Volumes 2 and 3. Issues from Volume 3 have been on the Gemstone site for a while now.

“There will be some issues we don’t have in stock, and others for which we have very limited quantities, but we’re very happy to be about to finally make these issues available once again,” he said.

“The descriptions and the inventory are on the Volume 2 copies are presently scheduled to be completed in January, and we’ll make them available immediately when they’re finalized,” Vaughn said.
