Daredevil is finally back! Marvel Entertainment dropped the first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again, which promises that the “Devil’s work is never done.”

The series is a sequel to Netflix’s Daredevil that ran in the mid-2010s, and the trailer begins with a reunion between Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio). Matt talks about reconciling what has happened in his past and Fisk shares his perspective on being mayor of New York City. We get a first look at the villain Muse, and the superhero White Tiger (Kamar de los Reyes), and there’s also a confrontation between Daredevil and Punisher (Jon Bernthal). The trailer ends with a few nasty fight scenes that confirm the show will have the same edge as its predecessor.

It’s been seven years since the Netflix Daredevil series ended, and fans spent much of that time campaigning to see the popular show come to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Cox joined the MCU with a cameo appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home when Matt Murdock offered legal help to Peter Parker. He popped up again for the Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, sparring with Jennifer Walters in the courtroom and with She-Hulk on the streets.

Several other Daredevil stars are also back for the new series, including Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, and Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye. Showrunner Dario Scardapane described it as a New York crime story and confirmed that it has “the DNA of the old Netflix show” while also moving forward into new territory.

Daredevil: Born Again will debut on Disney+ on March 4, 2025.
