Oni Press has made several internal promotions and new hires for key departments, including accounting, editorial, marketing, operations, and more.

Spencer Simpson, who was working as VP, Sales has been promoted to VP, Marketing and Sales. Prior to joining Oni, he was a buyer for American Wholesale Book Company, he led a comics program at 2nd & Charles and Books-A-Million, was the Director of Sales at BOOM! and then at DC.
Promotions include Jung Hu Lee, a former Warehouse Assistant, Logistics Coordinator, and Editorial Assistant, who will now be an Associate Editor. Sara Harding, has gone from Entertainment Executive Assistant to Executive Coordinator and will now be the Administrative Manager. Kaia Rokke, the former Marketing & Communications Coordinator has been promoted to Marketing & Communications Manager.
Allson Gronowitz, who spent six years on BOOM!’s editorial team has been hired as the new Senior Editor. Elyse Raimo, BOOM’s former Finance Manager has joined Oni as Director of Reporting & Special Projects. Megan Christopher brings her project management experience from BOOM! and TKO Studios as Director of Operations. Azat Sayadi has been hired as Assistant Editor, following internships at Warner Bros. and DC. Melanie Ujimori, who did prepress as Seven Seas Entertainment has been named Prepress Lead.
