Baltimore Comic-Con has announced six returning guests to the list of creators attending the convention on October 17-19, 2025. The latest additions are John Beatty, Jim Cheung, José Luis García-López, Shawn Martinbrough, Adriana Melo, and Craig Rousseau.
Beatty started working for DC and Marvel when he was 19 years old, and his early work was as the finisher on JLA and inker on Captain America. Then he and Mike Zeck provided the art on Marvel Super Heroes: Secret Wars and they paired again on The Punisher miniseries and graphic novel. At DC, Beatty was the inker on Batman: Year 3 and early issues of Legends of the Dark Knight. He moved into DC Licensing, producing vector ink and color for style guides for movies, animated series, and licensed products.

At Marvel he created titles like Infinity and Young Avengers, and has worked on Justice League, Avengers vs. X-Men, New Avengers, and Original Sin.

In the early ‘80s, he famously designed and penciled the definitive looks for Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman, among other DC characters, for the DC style guides.
