Jason Statham’s latest action thriller, A Working Man, scored an opening weekend of $15.2 million. It topped the box office, outselling Snow White, which opened at No. 1 the week before.
The film is an adaptation of comic writer Chuck Dixon’s novel, Levon’s Trade, and is directed by David Ayer (Suicide Squad). Statham stars as Levon Cade, a military veteran with special skills who is now working in construction. When his employer’s daughter is kidnapped by human traffickers Cade becomes a one man army, hunting them down to find the girl.
A Working Man was a reunion for Statham and Ayer, who previously worked together on 2024’s The Beekeeper. Statham also reunited with his Expendables costar Sylvester Stallone, who wrote the script for A Working Man.
The movie also stars Michael Peña, David Harbour, Alana Boden, Jason Flemyng, Arianna Rivas, Maximilian Osinksi, and Eve Mauro.
