CGC's Senior Grader Paul hosted a dinner for CGC forum members during Wizard World Chicago. The dinner was held last Saturday evening at Gibson's. The CGC forum dinners have become "the" social event at most major conventions where hobbyists gather to discuss issues of reading, collecting, and just to enjoy a good time out with fellow collectors and dealers. Among the many participants at the dinners are typically comic retailers, collectors, industry professionals, and more. Topics of conversation range from the latest market news to comic book history. Thanks to forum member and Pedigree comic enthusiast Alan Flenard who planned the dinner the event went well and a good time was had by all.

Attending the dinner were CGC's Senior Grader Paul Litch, CGC's New Director of Marketing Scott Shecter, CGC's Pre-grader Jerry Stephan, CGC's Receiving Manager Scott Talmadge, CGC'S Customer Service Representative Eric Downton, Gemstone Publishing's Tom Gordon III, Comic Historian Michelle Nolan, Comic Buyer's Guide Editor Maggie Thompson, Comic Buyer's Guide Managing Editor Brent Frankenhoff, Fred McSurely, Dan Cusimano of Flying Donut Comics, Hobbyist and Founder of The Chicago Pedigree Joe Sarno, Former Owner of The Chicago Con and Hobbyist Gary Colabuono, Alan Flenard, Donna Flenard, Dan Drummond, Rob Larsen, Steven Welch, Anne Martinez, Sid Anschell, Win Murray, Andy Bonami, Scott Bonagofsky, Elizabeth Weiss, Erik Garmany, and other forum members.

"As always, the CGC Forum dinner was a wonderful night spent with old and new friends from our community; it was a pleasure to see everyone again. Besides seeing Gary Colubono, Maggie Thompson & Michelle Nolan, it was a special honor for CGC to have Joe Sarno attend our dinner. Without Mr. Sarno the comic book collecting community would not be as in depth and enriched as it is today," Paul Litch reflected.
