Comic writer and novelist Steve Englehart is doing an exclusive private signing with CGC. His career began at Warren Publishing as assistant on Vampirella. Credited with reshaping the Marvel Universe, Englehart had notable runs on Captain America and Avengers. He has worked on popular Marvel titles like Spider-Man, The Fantastic Four, Doctor Strange, and The Hulk, plus Superman and Batman at DC. He co-created Ultraverse comics, wrote the Night Man series, and wrote the novels, The Point Man, The Long Man, and The Plain Man.
“We are beyond excited to be given the opportunity to work with the legendary writer Steve Englehart for this exclusive private signing event,” CGC Signature Series Director Brittany McManus said. “Steve has changed the modern comic book industry with his contributions, and we could not wait to share this thrilling news with our comic fans!”
For this exclusive signing, both free and paid CGC members can submit books directly to the CGC headquarters in Sarasota, Florida. CGC must receive all submissions for this event by Monday, January 10, 2022.
If the private signing needs to be rescheduled, CGC will securely store submissions until it can be rescheduled.
After the books are signed, CGC will grade and encapsulate them with expedited turnaround of six weeks for grading or eight weeks for grading and pressing. Then collectibles will be shipped back to the owners.
The fee for Englehart’s signature is $75. This includes the expedited turnaround times and encapsulation with CGC’s yellow Signature Series label and CCS pressing (for an additional $20 fee).
