A high grade early issue of Human Torch and the first issue of Amazing Spider-Man are among the featured lots in Heritage’s Sunday & Monday Comics, Animation, & Art Weekly Online Auction.

The Human Torch could spark competitive bidding for the high grade The Human Torch #6 CGC 9.0, featuring Sub-Mariner in a backup story. The dramatic cover by Alex Schomburg shows Human Torch plunging into the Doom Dungeon to take on a throng of hooded cultists. According to the March 2020 CGC census, there are just two copies graded CGC 9.0, and only two with a higher grade.

Spider-Man’s origin is retold and he has his first crossover with the Fantastic Four in The Amazing Spider-Man #1 CGC 3.0. This key also introduces John Jameson, J. Jonah Jameson, and the villainous Chameleon. Featuring art and a cover by Steve Ditko, the issue is ranked No. 7 on Overstreet’s Top 50 Silver Age Comics list.

There are 1,061 lots in this auction with comics closing on Sunday, March 29 and everything else ending on Monday, March 30, 2020. Bidding opens at 6 PM CT on HA.com.
