ComicLink has added Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC 9.0 Curator Pedigree to the preview of the upcoming Comic Link Featured Auction, which begins on February 11, 2021. This major key joins other auction highlights such as the Captain America Comics #1 CGC 8.0 and John Romita’s Amazing Spider-Man #91 original cover art.

“There are key Silver Age comic book issues, and then there is Amazing Fantasy #15! This first appearance of Spider-Man is, hands down, the #1 most popular collectible comic book launched during the Marvel Silver Age period. The issue stands alone as the holy grail comic book collectible from this period, is clearly one of the most important, and has always been extremely challenging to acquire in the Near Mint range represented here,” ComicLink founder and Managing Director, Josh Nathanson said.

This CGC 9.0 Very Fine/Near Mint copy is one of only ten in the world certified by CGC at this grade level and – as it is the only one from the significant Curator Pedigree collection – it is arguably the most desirable. As is typical for comic books from this collection, the high structural grade is complemented by outstanding page quality; the interior pages have remained nearly newsstand-fresh, at off-white to white.

“The low population of this issue in the offered condition does not tell the entire story regarding market scarcity,” Nathanson added. “Compounding the difficulty level of acquiring a CGC 9.0 of this first Spider-Man issue is the simple reality that collectors are loath to part with one. A testament to this fact is that this is only the third time in ComicLink’s 25-year history that we have brought one to auction. And this particular example, my fellow collectors, is quite possibly the most desirable of them all.”

Auction placement in the ComicLink Winter Featured Auction or other upcoming auctions can be reserved by viewing the ComicLink Auction Schedule or contacting the ComicLink sales team by emailing buysell@comiclink.com or calling (617) 517-0062 or a preferred contact. Upfront cash advances are available upon receipt of seller material.

In addition to comic books and original art related to comics, strips, gaming, and fantasy, the firm is seeking other certified and authenticated collectibles including trading cards (sports/non-sports), coins, video games, toys, sports, historical, entertainment memorabilia, and more. These will be cross-promoted by ComicLink and auctioned on CertifiedLink.com.

ComicLink is also always accepting new sellers for the ComicLink exchange marketplaces, brokering private placement deals, and buying outright.
