ComicConnect’s original art auction is in the home stretch with just a few days to go. Bidding concludes on Monday, June 21, 2021, at 7:50 PM ET. The most highly sought and bid upon items include the two classic Spider-Man pages, one by Steve Ditko and the other by John Romita, Alex Ross’ covers to Captain America #34 and Captain America: Reborn #1, a page from Fantastic Four Annual #2 by Jack Kirby, and Frank Springer’s cover to Spectacular Spider-Man #24.

“Original art has proven to be a stable investment for clients looking to expand their portfolios,” ComicConnect COO Vincent Zurzolo said. “The individuality of the pieces is an attractive aspect as no one else can own it. Returns on investment have been extraordinary as well.”

Collectors are also bidding heavily on Winsor McCay’s Dream of the Rarebit Fiend Sunday pages from 1907 and 1908, Stephen Platt’s final splash page from his classic run on Marc Spector: Moon Knight, John Romita’s page from the Spectacular Spider-Man magazine, a Wolverine battle page from X-Men #152 by Bob McLeod, and Gene Colan pages from Tales of Suspense #92 and Daredevil #30.
