Blade’s first appearance, Supergirl original art, and a sealed copy of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 are among the highlights in Heritage’s weekly auction. The Comic Books Select Auction ends on Sunday and Monday, August 14-15, 2022, the Video Games Mini-Boss Auction closes Tuesday, August 16, and the Comic Art & Animation Auction ends on Wednesday, August 17.

The comics auction is led by the origin and first appearance of Barry Allen/the Silver Age Flash in Showcase #4 CGC 2.0. Considered the issue that kicked off the Silver Age, it also introduces Iris West, Barry’s future wife.

Tomb of Dracula #10 CGC 9.2 with Blade the Vampire Slayer’s first appearance is another featured comic lot in the auction. This Marvel key features a cover and art by Gene Colan.

On the original art side, Heritage has Supergirl #6 story page 4 by Carmine Infantino and Bob Oksner. The art features Supergirl in a boat on Lake Michigan when a figure bursts forth from below the surface.

The Action Comics #393 story page 4 original art by Ross Andru and Mike Esposito shows student activist Marla Harvey telling Clark Kent that she thinks Superboy is a glory hunter who just wants fame.

In the video game auction, Heritage is selling the high grade Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 WATA 9.4 B+ sealed (Sony Security Label) PS1. The game stars Tony Hawk, the most popular skateboarder of all time, along with 12 other pro skaters.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City WATA 9.2 B+ sealed (Sony Security Label, early production) PS2 is also offered. The sixth installment of the game series, it was also the fourth best selling game for PlayStation 2.
