Pedigree Comics CEO and President Doug Schmell received a consignment of high grade CGC-certified 1980s Marvel comics for Pedigree’s upcoming October Grand Auction. The auction is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, October 5 and last for 14 days until Wednesday, October 19 as a separate event on the Pedigree Comics website.
There is no buyer’s premium on any of the lots in the auction and every item will have no reserve. Every book is CGC-graded and the minimum bid is $20 for this auction. Over 150 lots can now be viewed on Pedigree’s website by clicking on the auction banner.
The consignment comes from a collection out of the Midwest. Most of the books are Marvel issues but there are other publishers as well. The vast majority of the books are from the ‘80s but the consignment spans the late ‘70s to the early ‘90s. Runs include Amazing Spider-Man, G.I. Joe, A Real American Hero, Moon Knight, Transformers, Uncanny X-Men, and Wolverine.
